Mayor Villaraigosa and his new word, 'Uh'
November/15/2008 05:21 PM
Open Letter to the Mayor of Los Angeles.
Mr. Mayor, I know the people of Los Angeles voted you into office, but couldn't you represent the people of Los Angeles better if every time you spoke in front of cameras you could refrain from using the word "Uh" every other word? I am sure L.A. has a few good college to learn better communication skills such as UCLA, USC, or even a L.A. Community College. Please Mr. Mayor, take some classes, you seem so idiotic when you speak. I am sure the people of Los Angeles do not want a person like you to represent them in a global community using the word "UH."

After watching the Palin/Clinton
SNL Video, I get this message when the video

30 Minutes On Hold with Dell just to order a CD-Rom
November/20/2007 06:46 AM
I can not fucking believe it took me 41 minutes to I
ordered a simple CD/DVD drive from Dell. From calling
their main 800 number to being placed on hold and
transfered all over, then finally placing the damn
order it took 41 minutes. That is unacceptable.
Dell has to get their shit together. If you need to order a part for your server, go a different rout. Try CDW instead. They are much faster.

Starbucks Drive-thru Sucks
April/22/2007 09:58 AM
I can not believe I waited 17 Minutes on a Sunday
morning for a Decaf and a muffin in the Drive-thru at
Starbucks, Mission Viejo, CA. I am fucking stupid to
do that shit. Why the hell did Diedrich's close!
Damn, know all I have for choice is AM/PM, Mom and
Pop or Starbucks. Well, it looks like I will start
using Mom and Pop more often for my coffee fix. Fuck
You Starbucks!
Ubuntu Sony 200ES did not work
February/28/2007 11:02 PM
So I switched over to Ubuntu from openSUSE
after I witnessed a really good package manager
and how quick this OS felt. There was only one
little problem. My monitor. I could not get the
video card to display more than 640x480
resolution on a Sony 200S monitor. I shot off a
few google queries read up on the subject of
nVidia drivers. Automatix and Envy are fantastic. Combined they
almost solved my problems yet I suggest you look
into both programs.
After trial and error, I finally went to the store to buy another card. Installed it and still it did not work. I hooked up the box to my wide screen and presto, it worked. I got 1024x768 resolution. So I swapped out my new card with the old card used Envy again and still no dice. Hmmm Then it dawned on me, it is not the card yet the monitor itself. I have a Viewsonic E771 right next to the Sony. I swapped monitors and presto again, the viewsonic was recognized by Ubuntu. It seems the Sony Multiscan 200ES did not autodetect with Ubuntu.
Well, my Sony at least works with my Mac. Hell ya!

This is the hottest I've ever felt in DaHouse.
Luckily when I did build the garage, I did install
A/C. Phew. So, I am here typingaway at a cool 77
degrees. Outside it has hit 110. The photo below
shows a little less but trust me, it already hit
110.
